Film Bhagya won the most five awards, Sunil Katuwal won the best actor award

 Kathmandu :  A Nepali Musical film 'Bhagya' is currently in the news. Nepal's second Musical movie 'Bhagya' has come into the limelight after winning the most awards at a festival held in Kathmandu last week. It has won the most five awards in the Nepal-Africa Film Awards.

 

Sunil Katuwal received the best actor award for the Musical film 'Bhagya' at the Nepal-Africa Film Awards. Esraj Garach Suraj received the Jury Award for Actor. Best Actress Award went to Neeta Dhungana, Best Movie Jury Award to Producer Sarita Maharjan and Best Director Award to Roshan Kumar Shrestha.

 

Writer Surendra Maharjan 'Amar' is the creator of this film. This film is based on his song play 'Bhagya'. 'Bhagya' is a work prepared by Maharjan after about 23 years, in the writing of which he spent the period from 2046 to 2069.

 

After 'Bhagya' was prepared as a work, lyricist Dr. Krishnahari Baral launched it on 9th August 2069 as a song play. Dr. Bindu Sharma had criticized the book at the launch ceremony.

 

According to writer Amar, the pain of poverty is contained within the lyrical play 'Bhagya'. Sorrows and happiness, laughter, happiness, the playfulness of youth, the sorrows and joys given by others when a companion is not with you, have been made friends. In the story, the knowledge about birth and death should not be hurtful, whether there is sorrow or happiness in the society, the knowledge that one should live with courage is given through the song.

 


Informative stories are included such as, at a young age, one should get married only by talking and discussing with their parents and not by running away from happiness.


The film Stars Esraj Garach, Neeta Dhungana, Sunil Katuwal, Aditi Shrestha, Purnima Lama, NB Anjan, Bishal KC, Sanu Tamrakar, Prakash Shrestha, Krishna Bhattarai, Ishwor Phuyal, Nijal Lama, Ayusha Shrestha, Surendra Maharjan Amar, Raju Shrestha, Surya Rai Danuwar, Shankar Ghatani, Ramesh Ekal Darnal, Bishnu KC, Asim Sherpa, Atit Limbu, Surendra Amatya, Jeevan Shahi, Ashok Rokka, Manisha Shrestha, Tulsha Katuwal, Cheku Lama, Roshan Kumar and child actor Anushka Khadka etc.

 

Chandan Dutt Koirala is the edit advisor in this film, which has the Cinematography of Rameswar Karki. The technical work of this film has been done at Red Studio.


This film, which managed to get an award as a special screen at the Indus Valley Film Festival 2022 of International Star, has achieved more success by winning five awards at the Nepal-Africa Film Festival 2023 held in Kathmandu.
