Director Janak Khadka Honored from president

Nepal: In a grand ceremony held at the President's Office Shital Niwas, renowned film director and journalist Janak Khadka was bestowed with an esteemed honor for his outstanding contributions in spreading the message of Yugakavi Siddhicharan Shrestha. The event, which marked the 112th birth anniversary and 31st memorial day of Yugakavi Siddhicharan, was graced by the presence of the Honorable Nepali President Ramchandra Paudel.

During the ceremony, President Paudel presented Janak Khadka with a letter of appreciation in recognition of his dedicated efforts to promote the works and legacy of Yugakavi Siddhicharan. The esteemed director was also awarded a cash prize of twenty-five thousand rupees, acknowledging his significant role in amplifying the reach and impact of Nepali art and literature.

 

Expressing his gratitude, Janak Khadka humbly accepted the honor and expressed his deep sense of responsibility. He emphasized the influence of his close association with literature, stating that it has continually inspired him to further contribute to the Nepali artistic landscape.

The prestigious Yugakavi Siddhicharan Award 2080, established by President Ramchandra Paudel, was also presented during the event. This year, the esteemed award was conferred upon Professor Dr. Jayaraj Acharya in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the realm of literature. Alongside the distinguished honor, Dr. Acharya received a generous cash prize of one lakh rupees and a certificate commemorating his remarkable achievements.

 

The program, organized by the Yugakavi Siddhicharan Academy, not only acknowledged the accomplishments of Janak Khadka and Professor Dr. Jayaraj Acharya but also celebrated the exceptional literary practice, multifaceted personality, and creative genius of Yugakavi Siddhicharan Shrestha himself.

 

Foundation President Vairagi Kaila, Patron Ravicharan Shrestha, and Pro. dr.  Mohan Lohani graced the occasion with their presence and delivered enlightening speeches, shedding light on the profound impact and legacy of Yugakavi Siddhicharan Shrestha.
