 Yalambar

Yalambar belongs to the Nepali folk instrument. Yalambar is a kind of instrument. It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring. This instrument is made of a non-broken knot in both the eyes (joint knot) of the bear. In the middle of this instrument, a hole is made one finger long and one finger wide. Two wires are drawn on either side of the hole.

A thin layer of bamboo is attached to the wire just above the hole. Yalambar falls under Talbaja. It is said to have been named after the first Kirant king Yalambar.
